Music Ministries

The music ministry is at the heart of worship at First Methodist. Through vocal and instrumental groups, we provide a variety of opportunities for all ages and levels of talent to be involved in the music ministry. They include: the Sanctuary Choir (11 a.m. Sunday services); PraiSing (8:30 a.m. Sunday services); JoyeBelles and Jubilation Ringers, handbell groups for periodic worship services and special occasions; Brass Ensemble for periodic services and special occasions; Singing Christmas Tree, an annual gift to the community from First Methodist on the first weekend in December, which includes music, dance and drama to deliver the Christmas message; and Children’s Praise, the children’s music program, beginning with age three through the sixth grade.
