Adult Ministries

The creation of small group ministry opportunities is the main force of adult ministry. It includes adult education, such as Sunday School classes, and the University of Life on Wednesday nights. These small groups center on building relationships, providing tools for growing in Christ, and exploring ways of working through the common struggles of living a Christian life in today’s world.

The motto of the adult Christian education program at First Methodist is “to be a nurturing, learning environment for growing disciples”.
The University of Life Studies include the areas of Biblical disciple, theological study, spiritual formation and worship.

It is our hope that the Disciple Bible classes and short-term studies we offer will provide a variety of ways for each of us to grow and explore our faith.
